1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using SDET Unicorns Academy ("the Service"), operated by SDET Unicorns Inc. ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

You must be at least 18 years of age to use this Service. If you are under 18, you may only use the Service with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by these Terms.

2. Subscription Plans and Pricing

We offer the following subscription plans for access to our courses:

• Monthly Plan: $12.99 per month, billed monthly
• Annual Plan: $99.99 per year, billed annually

All prices are in USD. Prices are subject to change with prior notice to existing subscribers. Any price changes will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.

Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date.

3. Refund Policy

We offer a 72-hour refund window from your initial purchase date.

• Refund requests must be submitted within 72 hours of your initial purchase
• Refunds are processed within 5-10 business days
• After the 72-hour window, all sales are final with no exceptions
• No partial refunds are provided for unused subscription time
• Annual plan subscribers are not eligible for prorated refunds after the 72-hour window
• Renewal charges are non-refundable

4. Chargeback and Dispute Policy

We take payment disputes seriously. By subscribing to our Service, you agree to the following:

• Filing a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting us for a refund (within the eligible window) constitutes a violation of these Terms
• Your account will be terminated immediately upon filing a fraudulent dispute
• You are responsible for any chargeback fees incurred
• We reserve the right to pursue collections for fraudulent chargebacks
• We maintain records of all transactions and communications for dispute resolution

5. Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your subscription at any time:

• Cancel through your account settings on FreshLearn at academy.sdetunicorns.com
• Upon cancellation, you retain access until the end of your current billing period
• No refunds are provided for remaining subscription time after the 72-hour window
• Reactivating your subscription will be subject to current pricing at the time of reactivation

Your Responsibility to Cancel

You are solely responsible for cancelling your subscription before your renewal date. Please note:

• If you experience technical issues cancelling your subscription, you must contact us at contact@sdetunicorns.com BEFORE your billing date
• Failure to contact support before your renewal date constitutes acceptance of the renewal charges
• Technical difficulties with the FreshLearn platform do not extend the 72-hour refund window
• We are not responsible for charges resulting from failure to cancel or failure to contact support in time

6. Account Terms

• One account per person is permitted
• You may not share your login credentials with others
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms
• Account sharing or unauthorized access will result in immediate termination without refund

7. Content and Intellectual Property

All course content, materials, videos, code examples, and resources are the intellectual property of SDET Unicorns Inc.

• Content is licensed for personal, non-commercial use only
• You may not download, copy, reproduce, or redistribute any course content
• Screen recording or capturing of course videos is prohibited
• Certificates earned are for personal portfolio use only and may not be used for commercial purposes
• Any unauthorized use of our content may result in legal action

8. Third-Party Platform (FreshLearn)

Our courses are delivered through FreshLearn, a third-party learning management platform. By using our Service, you acknowledge that:

• FreshLearn handles subscription management and payment processing
• You are also subject to FreshLearn's Terms of Service
• We are not liable for technical issues, outages, or errors on the FreshLearn platform
• Platform issues do not extend refund deadlines unless you contact us in advance at contact@sdetunicorns.com
• For any platform-related issues, please contact us and we will work with FreshLearn to resolve them

9. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.

• We do not guarantee specific outcomes such as job placement, salary increases, or career advancement
• Our maximum liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the last 12 months
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• We are not responsible for third-party services, including but not limited to FreshLearn
• Course content is for educational purposes only and should not be considered professional advice

10. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to this page with an updated "Last updated" date.

Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
